| It's not too exciting to turn 18 living in the US, unless I smoke or buy lottery. But there's one thing Ive been wanting to do since I turned 18.
After I dropped off mom to work this morning, I needed to kill time, so I decided to stop by the Toyota dealership.
It's odd enough to go to a dealership by yourself. It's more weird when you are a girl and you look like you just got off from school. But this salesman let me look at the corolla 09 and he even asked if I wanted to drive one...yes of course, and I did. This baby just came out this month. Next time I will go back with dad or someone I can talk to, the salesman wasnt very talkative. |

| I feel like the best conversations I've had in the past couple days are with strangers. I was waiting in line to use the microwave, and I noticed the old man in front of me. Randomly I asked him one of the Epic survey question, which was "what is the most meaningful thing in your life?" because that was the only question I remembered from the little sheet. His answer was Jesus Christ. Then I found out that he works for the Discovery Institute, and he told me about his wife and his family. His name was Bill. The other time was waiting for the bus. This guy asked me for a dime. From his accent, I knew he's a foreigner. so i just asked him. He's a medical student from Libia. I asked if he gets scholarship to study here. Then he explained it is against his religion to receive advantages. That really caught my interest, so we went on about our own beliefs. I was thinking if it would be against his religion to take the dime that I gave him, but I didn't tell him that. Felt like God was working through little random things |
